CVICU Registered NurseThis is a 13-week contract position.Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), rotating every other weekend.We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery and related procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in intensive care procedures, medical management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.Responsibilities:Assess and monitor patient conditions, including the management of arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators.Administer medications and blood products as prescribed and ensure compliance with protocols for patients requiring ECMO and other advanced cardiac support.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU setting.Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, preferred.Must possess the ability to manage complex patient needs, including but not limited to those requiring advanced monitoring and therapies.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
