Associate Director, HEOR Strategy, Neuroscience

Associate Director leading health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) strategy for neuroscience products at AbbVie. Develops and implements HEOR tactics across multiple indications or products to support treatment optimization, label expansion, and regulatory registration. Works independently within a matrix organization while coordinating cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead HEOR strategy and evidence generation initiatives across pipeline commercialization and brand planning teams
- Conduct and oversee execution of robust, innovative outcomes research aligned to strategic objectives
- Collaborate with centers of excellence and external stakeholders to develop study protocols and interpret findings
- Support global HTA submissions and regulatory negotiations with FDA, EMA, and other agencies
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance with research standards
Requirements
- Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline
- Minimum five years experience with Master's degree; three years with PhD
- Expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, patient-reported outcomes, health services research, or health economics
- Ability to manage HEOR projects from conception through publication with minimal oversight
- Strong presentation skills for complex scientific data to diverse audiences
- Professional training in health field (MD, PharmD) is advantageous
