Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
• Maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Complete required Point of Care training and Restraint competency testing prior to assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Operating Room (OR) clinical experience
• Ability to complete facility-required onboarding and competency testing before starting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior scrub or circulating experience in an acute care OR setting
• Familiarity with Point of Care testing procedures
• Experience with restraint documentation and competency requirements
