Job Opportunity: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Our organization is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to become a part of our expanding Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in a full-time role. Candidates should have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We encourage applications from both seasoned professionals and recent graduates.

This newly established position is aimed at supporting the ongoing growth of our division, which includes plans for a future Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program. The role is designed to be hybrid, encompassing both outpatient care and responsibilities within the hospital, such as inpatient coverage and consultative services. The ideal candidate will exhibit flexibility and clinical versatility, demonstrating a readiness to assist in patient care across both outpatient and hospital environments as required.

• Delivering outpatient psychiatric care
• Conducting inpatient consultations for pediatric medical subspecialties
• Participating in hospital-based coverage as necessary
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams

The outpatient program caters to a diverse pediatric population facing a variety of psychiatric issues, including internalizing disorders, comorbidities, medically complex cases, and eating disorders. The psychiatrist will also provide consultative support across various pediatric specialty programs. Psychiatric evaluations in the Emergency Department are primarily conducted by LCSWs, with psychiatrist involvement as needed.

You will be part of a collaborative team of child and adolescent psychiatrists and will report directly to the Medical Director of the Division. This position includes an academic appointment, offering opportunities to engage in resident education and contribute to the establishment of a future fellowship program. Research opportunities are available and actively encouraged. This is a full-time employed position with our physician group, offering competitive compensation that reflects training and experience. Professional malpractice coverage is included under sovereign immunity.
