Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - EOW (Every Other Weekend) - EOH (Every Other Holiday) - Travel experience - Ability to float onsite within skill set Description: This position requires a traveler to be placed on a unit where the greatest need is, whether it is a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, based on the traveler's skills. A candidate will be accepted with either Med-Surg or Step Down experience, as both roles share similar credentialing requirements. Candidates must complete an RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment. Floating to other sites within 40 miles may be required. The ideal candidate should possess both BLS and ACLS certifications, as well as NIH Certification.
