Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, deployments, observability, and incident response across AWS and Kubernetes/EKS environments.
• Maintain and scale AWS infrastructure and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Own hands-on SOC 2 and PCI-DSS systems and controls, including addressing network segmentation and traffic inspection gaps.
• Improve, consolidate, and accelerate CI/CD pipelines and make deployments and rollbacks more predictable.
• Build internal AI infrastructure including gateway and middleware layers, MCP integrations, knowledge graph capabilities, and AI developer tooling.
• Build greenfield infrastructure for new products and participate in an on-call rotation and interrupt-driven support.

Requirements

• Demonstrated DevOps/SRE depth and a genuine backend software engineering background with shipped production software.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience with observability or monitoring, CI/CD, compute, and networking.
• Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
• Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience building DevOps or infrastructure from scratch at an early-stage startup or scaling it during a company growth stage.
• Willingness to own compliance work involving SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Preferred experience with AI or LLM tooling, MCP, model gateways, or internal AI developer platforms.
• Preferred prior SOC 2 or PCI-DSS experience, exposure to security engineering, and AWS CDK experience, especially with TypeScript.
• Preferred experience reducing vendor lock-in or migrating between data stores at scale.
