Yard & Warehouse ForemanAt Wood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply, we're looking for a leader who takes ownership, sets the pace, and helps keep our operation running smoothly. As Yard Foreman, you'll oversee the daily activities of our lumber yard and warehouse, ensuring products are received, organized, loaded, and delivered safely and efficiently. You'll work alongside the team, lead by example, and help create an environment where customers receive exceptional service and employees take pride in their work.What You'll Be Responsible ForLead and support yard and warehouse team membersCoordinate daily loading, unloading, and material handling operationsMaintain an organized, clean, and safe yard environmentOversee receiving and inventory accuracyEnsure customer orders are pulled accurately and ready on timeAssist with scheduling, training, and developing team membersMonitor stock levels and communicate inventory needsOperate forklifts and other equipment safelyWork closely with store leadership to improve efficiency and customer serviceHelp solve problems and keep operations moving throughout the dayWhat We're Looking ForStrong work ethic and a willingness to lead from the frontExperience in lumber, building materials, warehouse operations, logistics, or related industries preferredAbility to motivate and hold team members accountableStrong organizational and communication skillsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsForklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified)Ability to lift, carry, and move building materials safelyA mindset focused on continuous improvement and getting the job done rightWhat Sets You ApartYou don't wait to be told what needs to happenYou see problems and create solutionsYou take pride in maintaining high standardsYou understand that great customer service starts with great operationsYou can balance urgency, safety, and attention to detailWhy Wood Shed?
