Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
• Prior experience working with students in school settings (elementary and/or high school preferred)
• Solid grasp of IEP processes and familiarity with IDEA and Section 504 regulations
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Proficient at adapting interventions to suit diverse needs across a range of ages
• Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting student success
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in both group and one-on-one formats
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Provide recommendations to classroom staff and parents to support students’ functional independence
• Foster inclusive classroom participation by adapting activities and recommending modifications
• Serve as a resource for teachers and administrators regarding occupational therapy supports
