The role supports the patient care plan, administers medications and treatments, and collaborates with the care team to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,673–$1,796 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Shift: 5x8 rotating Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (Long-Term Care) Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assistance with personal hygiene and participation in the patient care plan Administer medications and treatments, including respiratory therapy modalities, and document administration Apply infection control policies to protect patients and staff Monitor patients, report changes in condition, and take appropriate action in urgent situations Offer patient instruction during hospitalization and at discharge Support orientation and ongoing learning for new staff and students Requirements Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (current) CPR and ACLS certifications required Education: Graduate of an approved LPN program with current licensure Visual, auditory and manual dexterity abilities to assess patient conditions and provide safe care Basic computer skills and ability to learn facility computer programs Ability to work in a long-term care setting Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Travel assignment with a 13-week contract Shift: 5x8 rotating Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
