Role & Responsibilities Assist in electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablations, device implantations, and mapping. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and support a safe environment. Perform assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans, ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and respond to patient condition changes promptly. Qualifications & Skills Require at least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience, current BLS, ACLS, and certification (ARRT, RCES, or RCIS). Preferred licenses include radiologic technologist credentials and certifications like PALS or ENPC. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, physical ability to handle equipment, and the capacity to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal, technical, and sensory skills are essential.
