Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Panama City, FL

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team in Panama City, FL. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care by following established protocols, procedures, and guidelines within the healthcare organization. Your primary duties will include assessing, planning, and evaluating the care needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, patient-centered care according to organizational policies and best practices.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and adjust treatments based on patient needs and evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards, ensuring patients and their families feel supported throughout the care process.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or compact licensure. If a compact license is held, a Florida RN license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Acute care nursing experience is required (does not need to be specific to Med-Surg). Acute care experience must be within the last 3 years unless the candidate has extensive RN experience, in which case, it can be within the last 5 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including effective listening.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a high-demand environment.
• Physically able to meet job demands, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving equipment or patients weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $27-$40/hour, based on experience.
