Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Panama City, FL

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team in Panama City, FL. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care by following established protocols, procedures, and guidelines within the healthcare organization. Your primary duties will include assessing, planning, and evaluating the care needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, patient-centered care according to organizational policies and best practices.
Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and adjust treatments based on patient needs and evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Uphold excellent customer service standards, ensuring patients and their families feel supported throughout the care process.

Qualifications:

Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or compact licensure. If a compact license is held, a Florida RN license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Acute care nursing experience is required (does not need to be specific to Med-Surg). Acute care experience must be within the last 3 years unless the candidate has extensive RN experience, in which case, it can be within the last 5 years.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including effective listening.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a high-demand environment.
Physically able to meet job demands, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving equipment or patients weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $27-$40/hour, based on experience.
