Step into a Day on the Dock

By sunrise in Waipahu, HI, finished windows, doors, and custom architectural products are lined up and ready to move. You’ll walk the shipping floor, confirm that each order matches its paperwork, and stage pallets for carriers and customers who will arrive for will-call. Throughout the day you’ll partner with production, inventory, drivers, and customers to keep every shipment accurate, safe, and on time.

• Prepare, package, and stage outbound orders to company and customer specifications; verify counts and contents before release.
• Coordinate and manage will-call pickups, ensuring customers are greeted, guided, and loaded professionally and punctually.
• Load and unload trucks safely; reconcile freight against packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Inspect every outgoing shipment for accuracy, quality, completeness, labeling, and secure packaging.
• Keep precise shipment records, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and internal documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, drivers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist customers and drivers during will-call in alignment with company safety and service procedures.
• Partner with production, inventory, and logistics to investigate and resolve discrepancies or order issues.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and related equipment safely and in compliance with safety procedures.
• Handle and stage windows, doors, glass, aluminum, and similar manufactured materials with care.
• Keep the shipping and will-call areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Adhere to company policies, OSHA requirements, warehouse procedures, and material-handling guidelines.
• Report damages, shortages, mis-picks, or safety concerns promptly to supervision.
• Pitch in on related shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or facility tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or material handling.
• Working knowledge of packing lists, purchase orders, labels, shipping paperwork, and inventory basics.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with proven ability to confirm order accuracy.
• Clear, professional communication with customers, drivers, supervisors, and teammates.
• Capability to lift, move, push, pull, and stage materials as the job requires.
• Comfort standing, walking, bending, and reaching to perform physical warehouse work throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Background in manufacturing, production, construction materials, or window/door/glass/aluminum environments.
• Current forklift certification.
• Familiarity with ERP, inventory, shipping platforms, or WMS tools.
• Experience organizing customer pickups or will-call orders.
• Strong organization; able to juggle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours when business demands.

Full-time, on-site in Waipahu, HI . Hours may vary with shipping volume and customer pickup needs; overtime may be required.
