Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Opportunity in Key West, FL

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license or equivalent state license when required.
• Certification: ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. (RCIS may be preferred depending on hiring preference.)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Minimum one year of experience scrubbing for invasive cardiac catheterization procedures in a hospital Cath Lab.
• Experience assisting with radiology interventional procedures.
• Ability to perform imaging studies under direction of Cardiologist or Director of Imaging Services.
• AHCA background screening compliance for Florida placements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of Cath Lab hospital setting experience preferred.
• RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred if not already required.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 - 17:30.
• On-call requirement: approximately 10–12 days per month.
• Must secure housing at time of assignment acceptance.

As a traveling Cath Lab Tech, you provide essential support for invasive cardiac and interventional radiology procedures, contributing to timely diagnosis and treatment. Your technical skills and judgment assist cardiologists and imaging leadership in delivering procedural care and positive patient outcomes.
