Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. Build and manage long‑term customer relationships and partnerships with target and managed accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction and position renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships. Conduct the sales process to cultivate and manage long‑term relationships, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis, expanding the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account. How You Will Do It Sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners at the director level, reaching optimal profit levels. Focus on improving existing buildings to help owners achieve their business objectives. Manage opportunities, particularly those involving the sale of services and retrofits. Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi‑year agreements, to new and existing customers. Create partnering relationships with owners or their representatives to drive the sale of Johnson Controls offerings. Listen actively, probe, and identify concerns while understanding the customer’s business and speaking their language. Complete any other tasks that may be assigned. What We Look For Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experience. At least one year of successful sales of HVAC or building automation system service or projects. Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business. Ownership of accounts and initiative to drive growth. Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to influence account decision makers at key levels. Hiringsalary range: $91,200 - $137,000. This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan based on volume and margin on a quarterly and annual basis. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role; exceptional candidates may request consideration beyond the stated range.
