About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience - Circulate experience Description: MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD). No local candidates within 100 miles. COVID vaccine is optional; documentation is required if vaccinated or a declination form must be submitted. Ratios are 1:1. First-time travelers accepted. Weekend requirements are 2-3 shifts per month. Call requirements consist of 24-36 hours per month; details can be discussed with leadership. No floating outside of scope to meet facility needs. Must have experience with trauma and neuro procedures. Travelers may be scheduled for weekend shifts depending on unit needs. Pre-approved time off is one week preferred. Travelers must have some trauma and neuro experience; candidates without this experience will not be considered. Top service lines include trauma, neuro, and orthopedic cases. Special equipment and additional requirements may apply. Weekly guaranteed hours include a maximum of three call-offs throughout the assignment. Modules may be required during orientation and annually. Hours spent on modules beyond four hours is non-billable. Travelers without specific certifications may need to complete training during orientation.
