Agriculture Part-Time Lab Technician

General Purpose and Scope of the position: These positions are part‑time, temporary positions filled each semester on an as‑needed basis. Responsibilities include assisting Program Chair in special projects and/or Faculty in agriculture business or horticulture labs; setting up lab equipment; equipment maintenance; and clean‑up after labs and as needed. Enrolled as an agriculture student at Ivy Tech Lafayette campus. Computer literate with good Excel knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience operating and maintaining agriculture equipment. Familiar with horticulture equipment and green house operations. Other Requirements: Copies of transcripts may be required at time of interview. Original transcripts will be required at time of hire.
