Role Description The Paralegal at Roots Law, PC will support attorneys in estate planning and related practice areas through detailed legal and administrative work. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives; managing probate and guardianship files; and assisting with trust funding and asset alignment. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, maintaining case files and calendars, and communicating with clients to gather information, provide updates, and schedule meetings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tulsa, OK, requiring consistent collaboration with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient, client-centered service. Qualifications Foundational knowledge of Law and estate planning concepts, including wills, trusts, probate, and guardianships. Strong Legal Document Preparation abilities, including drafting, formatting, and organizing estate planning and probate documents. Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and external parties in a clear, professional manner. Proficient Research skills to gather legal, factual, and financial information relevant to estate planning and administration. Careful Document Review capabilities to check for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and completeness. Relevant experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in estate planning, probate, or related fields. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously. Proficiency with office software and legal practice management tools; comfort with learning new technology and workflows.
