Inventory Specialist

Job TitleThe responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:Ordering, receiving, and stocking inventory at medical centers with minimal disruption to patients and staff;Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships and open lines of communication with all administrative and center staff;Communicating with center and Materials Management Department staff regarding backorders and order discrepancies;Maintaining the center inventory database;Ensuring inventory and supplies are adequate for center operations;Traveling to multiple centers as directed;Operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained.Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:Employee must be 18 years of age or older;High school graduate or equivalent;Knowledge of medical supplies a plus;Experience in purchasing, inventory, or related business environment preferred;Strong organizational skills;Strong computer and analytical skills;Ability to prioritize and multitask;Ability to lift moderate to heavy items (25 to 50 pounds);Ability to unpack, move, and lift boxes required;Ability to travel and provide own transportation.Salary Range: $20.00 – $23.00, depending on experience.Benefits and Other Compensation:• Health, Dental and Vision insurance for employees and dependents• Disability, Life and Long Term care insurance• Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan (with employer match)• Paid Annual Leave, Volunteer Time Off Pay, Bereavement Leave, Emergency Leave Bank• Overtime Pay, Holiday Pay, Double time compensation for all holidays worked• Discounted medical treatment at any Patient First location for employees and immediate family• Bonuses include:- Recruitment bonus- Patient Care Performance bonus (center employees only)- Weekend bonus (center employees only)
