About the Position

Job Title: ICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN License required prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: CRRT experience required Description: Position: ICU RN. Shift: Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s Days, 7 AM – 7 PM. Ratios: 1:2 - 1:3. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. On-call Requirement: No. Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs. First-timers accepted with 2 years of ICU experience. Must have SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license in hand prior to start. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. CRRT experience is mandatory. This unit practices self-scheduling every 6 weeks. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All time-off requests (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. No additional PTO will be approved after accepting the assignment. Schedules must remain flexible to meet the unit's needs. Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. After 2 callouts without documented medical reason, a contract may be canceled. Type of Facility: 97 staffed beds. Charting System: Epic. Employee may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Travelers should complete labs within specified timeframes prior to start. Modules are non-billable and included in hours completed pre-start. All candidates must complete compliance before reporting to the facility.
