Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Pay: $25 to $30 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Overview

This HR Coordinator role focuses on people operations and employee support. The position serves as a first point of contact for the HR department and plays a key role in onboarding, documentation, and day-to-day HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for the HR department, responding to and routing questions
• Process onboarding documentation and ensure new hire files are complete and accurate
• Track pre-hire and onboarding steps to ensure timely completion
• Maintain employee records, including document uploads and HR system updates
• Support routine HR workflows such as employee changes and confirmations
• Communicate clearly with employees and internal teams to keep processes moving

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR focus role
• Hands-on experience processing onboarding documents and maintaining files
• Professional communication style with strong customer service instincts
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel

Nice to Have

• Experience using an HRIS system
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
