Job Description

Humana, Inc. seeks Lead Cloud Architect in Louisville, KY.

Duties: Perform various engineering tests to verify and validate information technology product designs. Support product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Work with product engineering, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues. Responsible for evaluating and implementing orchestration, automation, and tooling solutions to ensure consistent processes and repetitive tasks are performed with the highest level of accuracy where cloud computing is concerned. Drive continuous improvement in cloud architecture by prioritizing high performance, cost efficiency, and robust reliability. Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of applications and solutions within cloud computing environments. Conduct technical planning and lead the development and refinement of architectural specifications for applications and solutions based in the cloud. Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define specifications for cloud-based products, applications, and solutions.. 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related roles.

This role requires 3 years of experience in each of the following:

•Software Engineering.

•ADO Pipelines and DevOps Automation.

•Cloud Infrastructure: (Azure or GCP).

•Azure DevOps, GIT, CI/CD, TDD, and Automated Build Processes.

•DevSecOps, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Object Oriented Principles, and Continuous Improvement Processes.

This role additionally requires 2 years of experience in project leadership.

This role requires 1 year of experience in each of the following:

•Unit testing and mocking.

•Leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports.

•Working in an Agile product methodology.

•Infrastructure automation tools including Terraform or Ansible.

•Production monitoring tools and dashboard.

•Kubernetes.
