Human Services Aide (CNA)The Wyoming Pioneer Home is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Human Services Aide (CNA). The purpose of this position is to assist the nursing staff in providing health care for the personal/physical needs, comfort, and safety of the facility's residents. The successful applicant will perform duties and tasks delegated by the charge RN and/or nurse manager. Must possess a current CNA certificate.Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.Knowledge of relevant nursing care.Knowledge of infection control.Knowledge of effective oral, written, and reading communication skills.Knowledge of motivational techniques.Knowledge of proper operation of a motor vehicle.Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) OR Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Healthcare) Experience: No prior experience required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CNA Certification obtained within twelve (12) months of hireMust possess strength, stamina, and mobility to lift up to 50 lbs safely. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and be flexible enough to assist the residents with ADLs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull. Must be able to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends and holidays.FLSA: Non-Exempt. A background information check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the Wyoming Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.
