**CORE JOB SUMMARY**The UMMG Pediatric GI/Hepatologist provides medical care to patients based on proper documentation in the medical record as outlined by the medical staff rules and regulations. The incumbent in this position receives patient assignments based on their educational discipline, expertise, or experience. Physician will work with the other transplant Hepatologists and critical care physicians in the Division of GI/Hepatology with responsibilities including providing direct patient care to pediatric outpatients at the Miami Transplant Institute faculty practice (including satellite clinics) and pediatric inpatients at Holtz Childrens’s Hospital/Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami. He/she will also be involved with undergraduate and graduate medical education.
