Route Service Technician

Advanced Fryer Solutions (AFS) is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Route Service Technician to join our growing West Chester team.

This is a hands-on, field-based position for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, solving problems, and taking pride in delivering exceptional service.

As a Route Service Technician, you'll service a variety of commercial kitchen customers throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including restaurants, universities, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and other foodservice operations.

Successful technicians are adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable supporting changing routes, customer assignments, and operational needs as business demands evolve.

AFS is headquartered in West Chester, OH and services commercial kitchen customers throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Technicians report to our West Chester facility daily for equipment, supplies, route support, meetings, and other operational needs before and/or after servicing customers throughout the territory.

No industry experience? No problem. We provide paid training and all the tools needed for your success.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Overnight and early morning hours
• Typical start times between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM
• Weekends off
• Three days off each week
• Consistent full-time schedule

• Using company applications on your smartphone to view schedules, communicate with management, document completed work, and upload photos

What You'll Do:

• Drive a company-provided service vehicle on an established route
• Service commercial kitchen fryers and oil management systems
• Perform fryer oil filtration and oil management services
• Safely remove and transport used cooking oil
• Operate specialized filtration and cleaning equipment
• Complete service documentation using company mobile applications
• Build positive customer relationships
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean, organized condition
• Represent AFS professionally at all customer locations

Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work overnight and early morning schedules
• Comfortable working independently
• Comfortable adapting to changing routes and assignments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 45 pounds
• Comfortable working around used cooking oil and commercial kitchen equipment
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications for scheduling, communication, documentation, and photo verification
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to reliably report to our West Chester, OH facility on a daily basis
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• Route service or delivery experience
• Restaurant, food service, or commercial cleaning experience
• Equipment maintenance or mechanical aptitude
• Facilities or field service experience
