Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments including physical exams and meticulous reviews of their medical history
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments with precision
• Deliver exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
