About the job Receiving Specialist
Join our fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment as a Shipping Receiving Specialist . We are looking for a high-energy individual to manage our logistics flow, operate a forklift with precision, and ensure our manufacturing and warehouse facility stays organized. - Equipment Operation: Safe and efficient operation of a forklift to move heavy materials across the manufacturing and warehouse floor.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify packing slips against physical shipments to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all OSHA safety standards while operating the forklift .
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to the line.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Shipping Receiving Specialist in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification: Current or prior forklift certification is required.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer software.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout a full shift.
- Detail Oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage complex shipping schedules.
