Growing together.At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is dedicated to women's health, supported by a diverse and cohesive team of caring, competent providers. We prioritize patient service, mutual respect, value-based care, and evidence-based practices while fostering a nurturing environment for our providers.Our OB/GYNs deliver comprehensive obstetric care and emergent gynecological services, focusing on women's health throughout their adult life. This includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal imbalances. Our specialists also guide and support women throughout their pregnancy in the hospital setting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecological care.Participate in regional OBGYN team rotations, performing hospital-based duties.Evaluate all patients in the ObED (triage), round on inpatient obstetric/gynecologic patients, manage laboring patients, and perform C-Sections, circumcisions, and gynecologic cases when indicated. Cover ER and/or hospital consults when indicated.Admit and manage labor for patients assigned to the regional Kelsey provider group only.No unassigned drop-in coverageWork 24-hour shifts, with an expectation of 7 shifts per month or 21 shifts/quarter, Monday-Thursday only with the following 24 hours off after a shift.In-house coverage; cannot take call from homeYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hireCompleted residency and practicing or be in residency when applyingLicensed in the State of TexasBoard Certified and/or Board EligibleCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 to $484,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
