Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

The Journeyman Electrician will primarily focus on residential electrical projects, ensuring installations and repairs meet safety and code requirements. Whether reporting to a site supervisor or being a site supervisor, this role demands expertise in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and emergency repair work with limited travel within the local area. Attention to safety procedures and maintaining tools is essential for efficient job execution.

Full time, Monday through Friday 7:30-3:30

Responsibilities

Install wiring systems for residential electrical projects
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform emergency repairs
Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards
Follow and promote safety procedures on job sites
Maintain and care for electrical tools and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in electrical work
Journeyman Electrician License
Proficient in electrical wiring and conduit bending
Strong knowledge of electrical safety and troubleshooting techniques
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
Effective time management and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
