Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills, and may vary from the range listed above.Key PurposeAt ISS Guckenheimer, we rely on financial systems to drive our business forward. The accounts payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Accounting Coordinator will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.Success CriteriaAnalytical skills: You will need to be able to look at numbers and analyze them to find areas where costs can be savedComputer skills: Being proficient in computers is essential, as most of the duties of an accounts payable specialist are performed using computer softwareAttention to detail: You will be required to analyze reports and be able to pay attention to minor accounting details, data, and expensesCommunication skills: Since you will be working with suppliers directly, you must have good listening and communication skillsObjectives of this roleStrengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely paymentsAssist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable processExercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reportingComply with national and local financial regulationsKey AccountabilitiesResponsible for processing invoices through our third party invoicing systemObtain and research vendor statements, providing payment information or requesting invoices as neededCommunicate requirements to vendors operating outside of the AP standard invoice submission rulesAssign AP inquiries tickets through the HappyFox system to the appropriate individualRespond timely to AP inquiries, from both inside and outside of the organization via HappyFox ticketing system and/or emailWork collaboratively with various departments to provide invoice and payment detailsSpecial projects as assignedRequired skills and qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentIntermediate-Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsUnderstanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeepingSuperb time management skills and detail orientationAbility to maintain confidentiality of company and partner informationPreferred skills and qualificationsAssociate degree or equivalentStrong mathematical skillsExperience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable)Experience with accounting software and online platformsPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time as neededHSEQ Compliance: All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
