The Supervisor Pharmacist oversees daily operations in a retail pharmacy setting, ensuring efficient medication dispensing, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service. This role involves managing a small team of 1-5 staff members while maintaining accurate inventory and monitoring safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee medication dispensing to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage inventory control and stock levels effectively
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and pharmacy laws
- Provide consultation and support to customers on medication use
- Monitor safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Supervise and guide a small team of pharmacy staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pharmacy
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Licensed Pharmacist status
- Skills in inventory management and regulatory compliance
- Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail
