Job Title: Inpatient Operations Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotation: Wednesday - Tuesday Hours per Shift: Weekdays: 20:00 - 08:00; Weekends: 22:00 - 00:00 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Must have a valid and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State or Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia Certifications: Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Must-Have: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BS-Pharm) degree from a recognized school 1 year of experience in an inpatient setting for Inpatient Operations Pharmacist I 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist for Inpatient Operations Pharmacist II Board Certification in an approved specialty for Inpatient Operations Pharmacist II Description: This position is in the Inpatient Pharmacy Department. The Night Shift Inpatient Operations Pharmacist will work under supervision. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day staffing and workflow. The incumbent will assign daily duties and maintain compliance standards. This role acts as a liaison between staff and supervisor. The pharmacist will provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services. Services are provided to a diverse range of patients including pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. The incumbent serves as a dedicated front-line pharmacist. This position requires coordination of day-to-day operations in the Inpatient pharmacy. The pharmacist will provide technical and administrative guidance to both professional and non-professional employees. The role may require covering shifts to address staffing deficits. There are opportunities for career advancement based on experience and involvement. Knowledge of pharmaceutical, hospital, and clinical practice is essential.
