We’re seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist to join our Elmira Counseling Center, an outpatient team providing care primarily to adults with higher acuity needs, including individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. In this role, you’ll conduct intakes and assessments, develop and manage treatment plans, provide primarily individual therapy (with opportunities to work with couples and families), and maintain timely documentation while managing your own schedule and meeting billable service expectations. Our ideal candidate brings at least two years of experience working with adult populations, including trauma and serious mental illness, along with strong organizational skills and a commitment to culturally responsive care for diverse populations. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with flexible scheduling options: four 10‑hour shifts, five 8‑hour shifts, or a combination. Hybrid work model with two days onsite (Tuesdays and Thursdays); remaining days remote. Schedule may be adjusted based on training needs, departmental priorities, and client or community needs. Salary Licensed Therapist: $66,512.16 – $91,016.64 per year. Licensed Psychologist: $99,493.68 – $118,627.08 per year. Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time). Fewer than 40 hrs/week will be prorated. Paid bi‑weekly. Bilingual Language Differential Pay Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay of $6,000 per calendar year, paid bi‑weekly across 26 pay periods and prorated based on hire date and FTE. Essential Functions Facilitate recovery and optimal quality of life in clients with behavioral health concerns by providing clinical services, case management, and education; create and carry out consistent treatment plans from intake through closure. Conduct diagnostic assessments; individual, family, and/or group therapy with assigned clients. Develop and monitor treatment plans; update at required intervals. Consult with internal and external professionals and collaterals to ensure access to needed services and proactive coordination of care. Provide clinical case‑management services as needed and crisis intervention as appropriate. Design comprehensive clinical services to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life. Assist clients to evaluate strengths and symptoms and set their own goals. Guide and instruct clients in coping skills. Offer consultation to community partners and providers. Ensure billing information is up‑to‑date for assigned clients; seek insurance authorization when required. Write reports and other correspondence as necessary, with appropriate releases. Complete required credentialing with third‑party payers and maintain timely and ongoing documentation. Monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the care team. Qualifications & Requirements Master’s degree in human services (Licensed Therapist) or Doctorate in psychology (Licensed Psychologist). At least two years of clinical experience providing care, including individual, family, and/or group therapy. Professional licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PSYD) – or equivalent licensure in another state with intent to transfer. If holding an out‑of‑state license, obtain Colorado licensure through DORA within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of theories and evidence‑based practices related to clinical treatment. Proficiency in an electronic health record system. Strong understanding of mental illness and treatment modalities within multidisciplinary approach. Knowledge of DSM‑V. Ability to handle crisis situations, document interactions, and respond effectively to all client presentations. Required Vaccination and TB Test All employees must receive an annual influenza shot and present a negative TB test before the first day of work. Proof of both must be provided on the first day.
