Senior Helpers of Greater Richmond culture is based on strong core values, recognition of achievements and respect.ResponsibilitiesEngage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors.Help with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they adhere to prescribed medication schedules.Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior.Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential outings.Observe and report any changes in the senior's health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition.Caregiver Qualifications1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferredWilling to accept new PCAs/CNAs and provide in-home care training.A valid driver's license, reliable transportation required - may need to drive clients in own vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileageMust be willing to work in homes with pets.
