In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval. PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SCREENINGS - Background, drug, and nicotine screens Safeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve. PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by the provider
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering related questions
- Position patient correctly to obtain high- quality diagnostic images
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Review images for quality and ensure appropriate imaging techniques are used
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and reporting any malformations
- Adhere to infection control and patient privacy standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Works in collaboration with Imaging team and assists with other duties within the Imaging department as needed
- High School Diploma
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT - R.T.(R) required - Certified in at least one Imaging Modality
- Florida Department of Health - Radiographer License required
- Valid FL Drivers License
- Less than 3 years' experience in related field
