Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide high-quality remote speech and language services to students in the Dayton, Ohio area for the upcoming school year.
This position is designed for clinicians who value the flexibility of working from home while remaining an integral part of a collaborative school community. Key Responsibilities
Direct Telepractice Intervention: Deliver engaging, individualized, and small-group teletherapy sessions targeting articulation, expressive/receptive language, social pragmatics, fluency, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Assessments & Evaluations: Administer standardized digital evaluations, interpret assessment data, draft comprehensive evaluation team reports (ETR), and write compliant IEP goals aligned with Ohio Department of Education standards.
IEP Team Participation: Facilitate and attend virtual IEP meetings, communicating progress, goals, and recommendations clearly to parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
On-Site Facilitator Coordination: Partner with district teletherapy e-helpers, paraprofessionals, and classroom teachers to coordinate student scheduling, maintain session engagement, and manage classroom carryover.
Case Management & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely service logs and Medicaid billing documentation in compliance with Ohio state regulations and local district procedures.
Caseload & Setting Highlights
Target Populations: Opportunities across K–12, with dedicated elementary (K–5) caseloads available.
Typical Caseload Sizes: Balanced, manageable student counts (averaging 40–45 students depending on district assignment and FTE status).
Focus Areas:
Articulation & Phonological Processing
Expressive & Receptive Language Deficits
Pragmatic / Social Communication Skills
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Fluency & Developmental Delays
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Active (or eligible to obtain) Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board.
Valid (or eligible to obtain) Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License.
Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP) required.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 1–2 years of school-based or pediatric clinical experience preferred.
Comfort with telepractice platforms, digital assessment protocols, and virtual IEP systems.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, HIPAA/FERPA-compliant home workspace.

Comprehensive Clinical & Tech Support: Access to proprietary telepractice platforms, an extensive digital testing/therapy toolkit, and ongoing technical onboarding.
Guaranteed Hours & Direct Indirect Pay: Compensation models that cover both direct therapy time and indirect administrative responsibilities (paperwork, IEP meetings, planning).
Dedicated Placement Guidance: Matched to districts and grade bands that align with your clinical strengths and scheduling availability.
