Job Description
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role within our dental team, providing expert care to 8-12 patients daily. Your focus will be on periodontal care, general dental hygiene, and pediatric dental hygiene, utilizing Dentrix software to maintain accurate patient records. You will educate patients on oral hygiene, perform dental cleanings, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure strict infection control in a supportive, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Assess patient oral health and identify issues
Provide oral hygiene education tailored to individual needs
Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
Operate dental X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain patient records using Dentrix software
Implement and adhere to infection control protocols
Schedule patient appointments and manage daily patient flow
Sterilize dental equipment according to health standards
Assist in treatment planning in coordination with the dental team

Required Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license

Preferred Qualifications
1+ years experience in dental hygiene
Expertise in periodontal therapy and dental radiography
Strong patient communication skills and empathy
Knowledge of infection control procedures
Proficiency with charting software, especially Dentrix
Excellent time management and attention to detail
