Schedule: PRN (as needed) Franklin Street location | Varied shifts, occasional weekends, one holiday on call per year + no travel.

More about our team
Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures. Ultrasound guidance biopsies of the breast and thyroid, paracentesis, thoracentesis/gynecological procedures and vascular ultrasound.


How you'll contribute
An Ultrasound Technician, PRN who excels in this role:

• Positions, transfers and properly immobilizes patients as required.
• Performs diagnostic abdominal and pelvic ultrasound studies.
• Performs diagnostic vascular (carotid and extremity venous) ultrasound studies.
• Performs diagnostic obstetric ultrasound studies.
• Maintains records and statistics of ultrasound studies.
• Maintains professional skills and provides age-specific needs to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics).
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines and reports unsafe practices and conditions.
• Assists physician during invasive ultrasonographic procedures.
• Participates in peer competencies.
• Provides On Call coverage as needed.

What we're looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology. Additional requirements include:

• Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification.
• BLS within 30 days of hire is required.
