Role Description The Customer Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lenexa, KS. This position is responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, providing timely and accurate information about Athlon Optics products, orders, warranties, and returns. The specialist will resolve issues, document interactions in customer service systems, and follow up to ensure satisfactory outcomes. Daily tasks include troubleshooting product questions, coordinating with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and technical support, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions. The role also involves monitoring customer feedback, contributing to the improvement of customer service processes, and representing the brand with professional, courteous communication in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Support skills, including the ability to manage inquiries efficiently and resolve issues effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Experience, with a focus on building long-term relationships and ensuring positive interactions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Phone Etiquette and professional communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work on-site in Olathe, KS, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using customer service software, CRM tools, and basic office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, ticketing systems).
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or consumer products; experience with outdoor or optics products is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, communications, or related fields is beneficial.
• Demonstrated reliability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset when working with internal teams.
