Instrumentation & Controls TechnicianAn industrial manufacturing facility is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to support day-shift operations through hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and system support. This role is ideal for technicians with strong electrical fundamentals who enjoy working with motors, controls, and process equipment in a modern, safety-focused environment. Entry-level candidates with solid electrical aptitude will be considered.Location: Conyers, GA 30013Pay: $30–$39 per hour ($62,000–$80,000 annually, paid hourly)Term: Direct hireShift: Day shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOvertime: Available some weeksRole Overview:Support electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial equipmentTroubleshoot and maintain motors, valves, drives, and control systemsPartner closely with maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable operationsContribute to system upgrades, improvements, and capital projectsKey Job Duties:Install, troubleshoot, and maintain plant electrical and instrumentation equipmentDiagnose issues with motors, valves, variable frequency drives, and control systemsPerform PLC troubleshooting and logic modifications (ControlLogix or similar platforms)Support PLC, DCS, and drive system maintenance, upgrades, and backupsAssist with electrical and controls support for capital projectsMaintain spare parts inventory and system documentationParticipate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent plant issues as neededThis is an immediate opening offering long-term stability, competitive hourly pay, overtime opportunities, and hands-on exposure to modern industrial systems in a clean, professional environment.
