Part-Time HousekeeperPay: $15.50/hour | Status: Part-TimeAbout the RoleWe're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents throughout our community.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness of all public and common areas, including the lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floorsClean and maintain resident rooms and bathroomsKeep handrails clean and free of debrisClean dust, dirt, and food residue from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and towel dispensersEmpty trash cans and replace linersSweep and mop floorsFollow proper safety protocols, including use of caution signage and keeping cleaning supplies/chemicals secured and out of residents' reachOperate cleaning supplies and equipment safely, per manufacturer instructionsKeep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, sanitary, and organizedPromptly report resident safety concerns to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of NursingNotify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need to be restockedWhat We're Looking ForA positive attitude and strong customer service skillsGood time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedure manualsAbility to solve practical, everyday problems on the jobFluency in written and spoken EnglishQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience in a long-term care facility preferredPhysical RequirementsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbsRegularly sit, kneel, stand, walk, talk, read, and hear throughout the shiftComfortable with routine use of housekeeping supplies/equipment and basic office equipment (copier/scanner/fax, phone, calculator)Work EnvironmentIndoor environment with generally low-to-moderate noise levels.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory duties.This job description reflects the general nature of the work performed and is not an exhaustive list of all duties.
