Our team is a community of nature enthusiasts, storytellers, and adventure-seekers, all dedicated to delivering top-notch outdoor experiences.

What You'll Do:

• Operating and navigating vessels in compliance with USCG regulations and company standards.
• Providing engaging and informative tours, sharing insights about the area's natural and cultural history.
• Performing routine vessel maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
• Leading with a service-first mindset, creating welcoming and memorable experiences for every guest.
• Collaborating with the Outside Brands team to support a variety of on-water activities, including fishing, eco-tours, and charters.
• Adhering to all safety, environmental, and operational policies.
• Participate in comprehensive 5-day training sessions to hone your guiding and interpretive skills, ensure familiarity with safety protocols, and deepen your knowledge of local ecosystems. Training dates are March 3-7 and May 12-16.

What We're Looking For:

• USCG Captain's License (OUPV/6-pack or higher required). Proven experience operating commercial vessels, ideally in eco-tourism or outdoor recreation.
• Dedication to safety, environmental stewardship, and customer satisfaction.
• A team player who embodies the values and culture of Outside Brands.
• A passion for the outdoors and a desire to share it with others.
• Enthusiastic storytellers with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to educate and inspire guests.
• Comfortable being on the water for extended periods and capable of handling physical activities.
• Willing to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required before starting.
