About the Position

Job Title

Acute Travel Respiratory Therapist (7P–7A)

Location

Winchester, TN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours expected (approximately 24 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all patient age groups in an acute care hospital setting, including ICU and Emergency Room environments
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis in accordance with ABG Endorsement certification requirements
• Administer respiratory treatments and support patients with a variety of respiratory diagnoses and conditions
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care

Required Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential with valid licensure/certification to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Tennessee
• ABG Endorsement required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NRP certification required prior to start
• PALS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with ICU and/or Emergency Room respiratory therapy
• Proficiency with Meditech EHR system
• Experience serving a diverse patient population spanning all age groups
