Strength And Conditioning Coach

Coach strength and conditioning training for competitive swimmers. Instruct and demonstrate proper movement and exercise techniques to ensure athletes perform exercises safely and effectively. Provide ongoing support, motivation, and guidance to athletes, families and coaches Monitor athlete progress and make adjustments to training as needed. Maintain a safe, clean and organized training area. Requirements: Experience working with student athletes or individuals of various ages and fitness levels. Knowledge and experience in Swimming is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with athletes. Ability to manage behavior and maintain a positive and motivating environment. SafeSport and CPR/First Aid certifications are required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe. Working toward or obtained a BS in Kinesiology or related field. (preferred not required) Working toward or possessing a current relevant professional certification credentialed by an independent accreditation agency, for example, the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification (preferred not required) Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
