About the Role Reporting to the Cultivation Manager, the Cultivation Technician provides daily care to produce high‑quality, safe medicine for patients. This entry‑level position offers learning and growth opportunities, with a full‑time 40‑hour week. Responsibilities Core daily care from seed or clone to harvest, monitoring environmental factors and maintaining cleanliness. Implement daily feeding and care schedules per the Cultivation Manager. Prune and repot crops while maintaining consistency and accuracy. Inspect plants visually for pests or deficiencies and report findings to the Cultivation Lead. Propagate crops to meet inventory needs as directed. Maintain accurate records of reservoirs, equipment, and crop logs. Accurately scan inventory into designated locations. Properly use, maintain, and store tools and equipment (vacuum, pumps, hoses, scissors, gloves, etc.). Execute daily and periodic cleaning tasks, including sweeping and spot mopping of cultivation floor and loading area. Dispose of waste properly at each shift’s end. Assist with secondary cultivation tasks as directed by the Cultivation Lead. Ensure a clean, safe environment within cultivation areas. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in horticulture, agriculture, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred. Minimum one year of experience in horticulture, botany, or related field preferred. Basic computer and office equipment operations (inventory systems, Word, Excel). Math skills for inventory, projections, and strong time‑management. Ability to plan, prioritize, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively. Work Environment and Physical Demands Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining product integrity. Lift up to 50 lbs light to moderate; heavier weights with assistance. Stand for prolonged periods. Perform repetitive motions and work with lab equipment. Wear company‑provided lab coats, hair/beard nets, gloves, masks, and safety glasses or goggles.
