Guest Services & Sales Ambassador - New Position for Our New Factory Retail Store!Position SummaryJoin Sarris Candies in our new position of Guest Services & Sales Ambassador where you'll help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest visiting our new Factory Store, tour space, and event venue. As part of a growing Pittsburgh destination located within our production facility, this role is designed for energetic, guest-focused individuals who enjoy hospitality, customer engagement, and creating unforgettable moments. From welcoming visitors and assisting shoppers to supporting special events and enhancing the overall guest experience, the Guest Services & Sales Ambassador helps bring the magic of Sarris Candies to life for families, tourists, and chocolate lovers of all ages.The ideal candidate is outgoing, enthusiastic, and polished, with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences. This individual thrives in a tourist and guest-focused environment, enjoys interacting with people of all ages, and consistently brings excitement, professionalism, and teamwork to every shift.Schedule:Part -time position3-5 days based on business needs, events, and peak tourism seasonsFlexible availability neededStore hours are 9am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.Events: Evenings and weekendsKey ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Customer EngagementDeliver an exceptional and memorable guest experience through friendly, enthusiastic, and professional interactionsWelcome guests into the retail store and assist with creating a fun, engaging, and positive atmosphereBuild rapport with customers while providing knowledgeable recommendations and product informationSupport guests during tours, special events, seasonal programs, and promotional activitiesMaintain a polished, energetic, and guest-focused presence alwaysAnswer guest questions regarding products, events, store offerings, and company informationRetail Sales ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with merchandise selection and complete sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale systemPrepare purchases through wrapping, packaging, and presentation of merchandiseMaintain visually appealing sales floors, displays, and stocked merchandise areasAssist with merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining store presentation standardsSupport inventory organization, receiving deliveries, and stock rotation as neededMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the retail environmentEvents & Tour SupportAssist with the setup, coordination, and execution of in-store events, guest experiences, and seasonal activitiesSupport event preparation including displays, signage, supplies, and guest flowEngage with guests during events to ensure an enjoyable and seamless experienceHelp create a lively, welcoming, and hospitality-driven environment during high-traffic periods and special eventsWork collaboratively with leadership and team members to ensure successful event executionTeam & Operational SupportCollaborate with team members to maintain a positive, energetic, and service-oriented work environmentSupport opening and closing procedures as assignedFollow company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety standardsAssist with additional operational duties as needed to support overall store and event successQualificationsPrevious retail, hospitality, customer service, tourism, or event experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutgoing, friendly, and confident in guest engagement, with a naturally warm, welcoming, and inviting presence that enhances the tourist and guest experience through genuine hospitality and connectionStrong multitasking and organizational abilitiesAbility to remain positive, energetic, and professional in a fast-paced environmentDependable, adaptable, and team-orientedCash-handling and point of sales system requiredAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and busy seasonal periodsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 30 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and assist with merchandise and event setup activities
