Dishwasher

The Dishwasher will report to the Kitchen Manager and is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for pizza trays, glassware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. The Dishwasher will also assist with kitchen prep work and cleaning duties as needed. This person will provide excellent guest experience and help carry out our overall mission to make the best beverages, and now pizza, in the world and to serve them in the most friendly and memorable environment possible.

This is a part time position, based in Saratoga Springs, NY, and will require mandatory availability Thursday-Sunday.

The starting pay for this position is $17.00/hr (with 1.5x your hourly rate on Sundays).

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for the following:

• Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, pizza trays, glassware, utensils, and cookware
• Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps dish area organized and free of clutter
• Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks
• Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift through sweeping and mopping
• Helps other team members to unload and store deliveries
• Clean kitchen appliances and machines as needed
• Taking out trash
• May be asked to assist in prepping and portioning pizza toppings to ensure success of the pizza service
• Monitoring inventory and notifying management of low stock levels as necessary
• Keeping work areas and overall kitchen sanitized and clean
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Applicant Requirements:

• Able to work consistently work Thursday - Sunday
• Previous work experience as a Dishwasher in a professional setting preferred
• Must be 18 or older to apply
• A food handler’s license is preferred; ability to obtain is required
• Understand and adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
  • Report sanitation issues promptly
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent illness
• Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift and lift up to 20lbs regularly without assistance
• The ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work in a team cohesively
• Excellent communication skills
