Starting Date: Immediately Custodian - Part Time Nights Job Details Job ID: 5801980 Position Type: Part‑time Working Hours 20 hours per week, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (night shifts) Compensation Salary is based on the custodian contract. Background Checks Required - CORI and fingerprints. Responsibilities Keep school buildings, premises, athletic fields, sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat, clean, and safe at all times. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/bathrooms daily in assigned areas using established practices and procedures. Dust, wipe furniture, sweep, mop, or vacuum floors daily; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers. Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, and events. Strip, clean, buff, and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets during assigned periods. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools (buffers, auto‑scrubbers, extractors, high‑pressure washers, high‑speed buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, squeegees). Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required. Lock and unlock assigned buildings; secure the building when unoccupied, checking for unlocked doors and windows, reporting any unauthorized occupants, and turning off lights. Qualifications At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred. High School or Trade School degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or valid work visa required.
