O/N Merchandising Lead (9 pm - 5:30 am)($22/Hr)

Sam's Club #4846, 5600 Emerald Ct, Mentor, OH 44060-1869 Responsibilities Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying member needs, guiding support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services. Assist management in supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing feedback, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and the Open Door Policy. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise, maintain sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and completing required documentation. Maintain facility safety through safety sweeps, forklift spotting and handling, hazardous material disposal, the company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation, handle claims and returns, zone, stock, arrange, display, sign, price, identify shrink and damages, and secure fragile or high‑shrink merchandise. Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, merchandising area categories, and overall departmental cleanliness. Lead and participate in teams, coordinate assignments, provide advice, support, and model adaptation to change. Oversee the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders ensuring product selection and staging follow policy. Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and standards of integrity, assist in correcting ethical and compliance issues. Qualifications Minimum: 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
