What You'll Do

• Monitor residents' physical and mental well-being, report changes to supervisory staff
• Accurately transcribe and implement physician's orders
• Administer medications & treatments and document electronically
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants per licensing requirements
• Assist during resident rounds with physicians
• Provide oxygen therapy and perform wound care, including wound vac management
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Document resident care, respond to family inquiries, and communicate effectively with the team
• Oversee infection control and ensure a clean, hazard-free environment
• Manage controlled medications following regulations

What You Need

Required:

• Valid NH LVN/LPN license
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a team setting

Preferred:

• Experience with wound care, medication administration, and resident assessments

About the Assignment This position is in a caring, dedicated setting serving residents in a rural area just two hours from Boston. Candidates must have reliable transportation due to limited housing options and public transit. The role involves providing hands-on nursing care, supervising staff, and ensuring resident safety and comfort in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
