Line Operator - Night Shift

Job Category Manufacturing / Production / Operations Requisition Number LINEO005683 Location: St. Clair Industrial, 105 Bolte Ln, Saint Clair, MO 63077, USA Shift: Monday through Thursday from 5:00pmam - 3:30am Position Specific Responsibilities Continually perform quality checks utilizing various gauges, particularly scales and crip gauges, recording/reporting results as required. Complete appropriate valve placement, keeping pace with production; utilizing machinery or manual placement as appropriate (with assistance). Monitor all machinery, including applicable hoppers, for safe, quality and efficient production. Assist in completing change overs of the filling area. Complete production paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, to communicate with team and management. Ensure each can receives product fill weights within tolerances indicated by production instructions. Verify correct components are utilized in production. Perform all daily periodic maintenance tasks on fill area equipment. Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol and SOPs. Verify component codes against work orders. Acquire enough components to last until the next break or end of the production run. Use all partial boxes or pallets of components first during a run. Prepare the area for new production by first removing all incorrect components before the new ones are delivered. Request additional components from the material handlers before they are required for production. Keep the Domer and Tipper full and operating properly. Operate the lines at maximum performance, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are maintained. Report any and all safety hazards, violations and procedural problems to team leaders.
